The Bridge
To accent the awesome natural beauty surrounding Conner Creek, we built a covered bridge at the development's entrance, giving the area a unique touch. With its contemporary styling, the lower structural part of the bridge is a Steadfast design with a coated black finish. The bridge cover is a stained, timber-framed structure designed and constructed by High Country Timberframe of Boone, North Carolina. The bridge absolutely exudes a feeling of high-quality mountain craftsmanship. More than 90 percent of the joints are mortise and tenon (held together with wooden dowels), giving the structure an Old-World character.
